What began as a humble eight-room hospital over 100 years ago has grown to a regional hospital system of state-of-the-art facilities with the highest standards of excellence. Today, we are the largest and most experienced health care provider and employer in Fredericksburg. While our brick-and mortar structure has grown by leaps and bounds over the years, we are still a health care system with intimate ties to the Fredericksburg community. Built in 1993, the hospital building features:

• Separate hallway corridors for patients and visitors
• Nursing stations in the center of each unit with satellite stations for convenience
